Mark trained as an integrative psychotherapist and has over 25 years experience in public and private healthcare as well as in business and industry. Mark has worked in the public sector within the NHS for 17 years, developing and delivering mental health interventions to a diverse population of clients for a range of mental health concerns. He has supervised training clinicians in this environment as well as qualified clinicians across a range of disciplines, including clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists, doctors and psychotherapists.

Mark provides private psychotherapy as well as supervision in the private sector at Violet Hill Studios.

Mark is a permanent member of the academic faculty at The School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology at Regent's University London. He teaches across a range of post-graduate training and accredited programmes as well as supervising academic theses. He is also a visiting lecturer at The New School of Psychotherapy and on the Clinical Psychology Programme at Hertfordshire University.

Mark provides supervision to Lane 4 Management who are an industry leader in the Executive Coaching field and has developed an existential approach to their work.
